Light my moustache on fire
Nothing has kept me from updating the last essay besides extreme laziness. So here it is, finally, when I should be studying for a calc test instead. The semester is almost over. The last pizza + bad movie night approaches. Soulseek doesn't connect since I upgraded. I have a letter to write. I haven't seen my roomate in weeks, and I doubt I'll be getting anymore of his papers, so enjoy this, the last one. My comments are in bold.
There are many problems in our world today. Such as bad writers in college. Problems such at racism, war, social Security, and many more. I think this one rivals "Napoleon was a go getter." I would add "genocide" and "Mexicans" to the list. These problems are all on the front stove so to say in the eyes of Americans. You know, the stove most Americans keep on the front porch, where they deliver the news. So to say. As I begin to look at the problems that we have as a nation You're just now starting?, there were many that I thought were not in the spot light that should be. Problems such at starving kids, not having enough money for education, and one of the biggest ones I could thought of was sex discrimination. None of these get any national attention or news coverage at all. Although it is mainly focus toward the women, it happens to men as well. Sometimes women assume I have a penis just because I'm a guy.
As begin to read the article that was assigned to us for reading titled, " How Subtle Sex Discrimination Works" written by Nicole Benokraitis, the thought of how often does sex discrimination actually occur on a day to day base, or when is sex discrimination actually sex discrimination. He forgot to add a verb and predicate, but he meant to say that the thought "comes up," or maybe "pops out of a brick and shoots arrows at you." The author of the article in my opinion is trying to enlighten us to when sex discrimination is sex discrimination. When the author wrote, " Subtle discrimination to document, because many people do not perceive it as serious or harmful" (Benokraitis 213). I heard there's a teacher here who counts it as plagiarism if you misquote a source. If you begin to read through the article, there were I think someone should sit down and explain to him what "begin" means many numerous times the author told story in which one part thought there was discrimination, but the out half Kiss your outter half goodbye said "that just sound like a joke, you need to lighten up" (Benokraits 214). The author is trying to enlighten people, that what may not some harmful to you, some harmful to you, some harmful dear insert name, some harmful to you, could be very harmful and degrading to someone else.
As I read through the article, I thought the author hit the nail right on the head. "Hey man, did you know that if you replace 'was correct' with 'hit the nail right on the head' you can increase your word count by, like, a million percent?" "Naw, man, I didn't know that. I will keep that in mind." Not many people do know when sex discrimination is sex discrimination. LOL Women are stupid LOL. What might be a friendly joke to someone, comma comma comma chameleon might be a insult to someone else. There has been many times a joke has been said to me, and someone else over hears the joke, and they begin to say that is sexiest. I can’t count on my hands how many times that is happened to me. Now, I know continuing action in the present is a difficult concept, but at least we don't have to conjugate any more than "has" or "have" for it, right? Yes sex discrimination is a real problem in our society. You could say it's on America's front stove, so to say. This a problem that over the recent years has begun to be addressed by many business. Many businesses now days days now will not tolerate sex discrimination, it one and you are done with many businesses. It it a verb? So yes I think this a definitely a problem that needs to be addressed.
Once again this fits right into what we are discussing in class, because you have society that puts people in a category just because of what there skin color is, where they come from, or what gender they our. Or maybe it fits right into what you are discussing because you are discussing this article? Oh, what's the point? You must wonder where is this taught. I blame... the sea. Its not a born disease so to say. And that's why you have to cover the seat with tissue paper in public restrooms. Why do people in society put boundaries and limits on another individual? Like grades? Grades should be abolished. The worst thing of all as we as a society hold each other down from bettering ourselves because of the color of our skin, or our gender. I thought the worst thing was "social Security."
And that's that.
So, I am now going to tell you my favorite joke of all time.
A man was walking down the street when he spied another man who had a giant orange for a head. He approached orange-head and asked him, "If you don't mind me asking, how did you get a giant orange for a head?" Orange-head explains, "No, I don't mind, I get it all the time. You see, I found a magic lamp with a genie in it. He granted me three wishes."
"So what was your first?"
"I wished to have infinite money. Now, whenever I reach into my wallet, it is full of twenties, and whenever I write a check it never bounces."
"Whoa. So what about your second wish?"
"I asked for the most beautiful woman in the world to be mine. It was so, and now we're happily married."
The other man looked at orange-head, a bit confused, and asked, "Well, what was your third wish?"
"I wished to have a giant orange for a head."
And now you can laugh.
I should probably update more.
